Carolina Reaper Seeds / Carolina Reaper

Carolina Reaper is the world's hottest pepper according to Guinness World Records.

Its creator is the American Ed Curry, who crossbred Pakistani Naga and Red Habanero to create this monstrously hot pepper. It originates from the state of North Carolina.

The pepper is between 2-4cm long. When ripe it is bright red, crinkled and usually has a pointed tail. Bears fruit every 3-4 months. Its taste is unique, rich with fruity aroma. The heat of the pepper is between 1,800,000 – 2,200,000 SHU.

To grow it, a suitable peat seedling mix, extra heat and light are essential.
