Hristo Rodinov is the creator of the hottest Bulgarian pepper, named "Bulgarian Spirit". Bulgarian Spirit is a cross between Trinidad Moruga Scorpion Red and Red Habanero. The pungency of the pepper is about 200,000 SHU.
Bulgarian Spirit is a plant with a bizarre shape – the structure of the plant resembles our typical Bulgarian chilli peppers, which are rather bush-like, but the peppers themselves have an exotic shape and look like a glossy strawberry. It is marked by a strong pungency and citrus aroma that leave a long and lingering aftertaste.
Thanks to the fact that the variety was created and cultivated in Bulgaria, it is fruitful and grows beautifully in our latitudes.
