🔥 This recipe is for true connoisseurs of delicious ribs. With a combination of sweetness, spiciness and juiciness, this dish will become the star of your table. You will lick your fingers!
Required products:
- 500–600 g pork ribs
- 5 tsp cumin
- 5 tsp black pepper
- 1-2 onions (cut into rounds)
- 5 tsp oil or olive oil
- 1 cup water
- 10 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 1/2 tbsp honey
- 10 g butter
- A few drops of Red Habanero sauce (according to desired spiciness)
- Aluminum foil for covering
Method of preparation:
-
Preparing the ribs
Arrange the pork ribs in a deep baking dish. Sprinkle them evenly with the cumin and black pepper. -
Adding the flavors
Arrange the sliced onions on top of the ribs. Pour over the soy sauce, honey and oil. Place the oil in several places in the pan and add water to ensure juiciness. -
Baking:
Wrap the pan tightly with aluminum foil and place it in a preheated oven at 250°C. Bake for about 1.5 hours, until the ribs are tender and absorb the flavors. -
Toasting for crispiness:
Once the ribs are done, remove the foil and return them to the oven for another 15–20 minutes to get a delicious golden brown. -
Final touch:
Drizzle a few drops of Red Habanero sauce over the finished ribs to add a spicy accent.
Garnish idea:
Serve the ribs with a jalapeno appetizer or jalapeno pickle – a spicy side dish that perfectly complements the sweet-spicy flavor of the ribs.
