Origin and characteristics of the variety

The variety Black fire comes from a selection of high-quality chili peppers, known for their intense spiciness and rich flavor notes. The fruits are about 5-7 cm long, with a strong skin and a glossy surface.
The spiciness ranges between 50,000 and 80,000 SHU, which places Black Fire among the spicier varieties, but without being unbearably hot. The taste is rich, slightly smoky, with a hint of fruity freshness, making it suitable for a variety of dishes, sauces and marinades.

Growing in Bulgaria

Black Fire seeds can be sown in a greenhouse or indoor space from February to April. After germination and development of the seedlings, the plants are planted outdoors after the spring frosts have passed (after May 6).
The plant prefers warm, sunny locations and well-drained, rich soil. It reaches a height of 60–80 cm, and fruiting begins in mid-summer and continues until late autumn. It is suitable for both gardens and for growing in pots or greenhouses.
