BNT1: Българка влезе в селекция на "Форбс" със своята ферма за люти чушки

BNT1: A Bulgarian woman entered the "Forbes" selection with her hot pepper farm

27-year-old Slavena Rodinova from the Varna village of Strashimirovo became part of Forbes' selection for Europe "30 Under" 30". She runs a family chili farm and never imagined she would make it to this list. This motivated her to pursue her dreams even more boldly.

"When you have pure motives, sincere intentions and you believe very strongly in something, even the world and everything helps you. And I think that sometimes there is a moment of the Universe telling you: you are on the right path, go ahead, you can do it," shared Slavena Rodinova.

It may sound incredible, but Slavena Rodinova has been helping to grow spices and vegetables in her parents' garden, which was 10 acres at the time, since the age of 3. As it grew larger, she sold their produce at the market in Varna.

"This physical labor, when I was little, I said I didn't want to do farming. I didn't want to be dirty, unsightly, with cracked, rough hands. I wanted to be a gentle woman, and for me to exude purity," said Slavena Rodinova.

"Unusual things can happen to ordinary people too. No one supported us. We had no acquaintances, we had no acquaintances in institutions, but this path we walked, the work we put in, the love we put in began to be seen by everyone else. And here, the moment came when all this began to pay off for us," said Darina Rodinova.
