Bulgarian Sense is a pepper born of six years of cultivation at Hot Farm and two years of trials at IASAS (Bulgaria's Executive Agency for Variety Testing, Field Inspection and Seed Control). In 2022 the variety was officially recognized and certified. Its parents are the Red Trinidad Moruga Scorpion and the Red Habanero.
