The Bulgarian Spirit variety is registered in the EU common catalogue of vegetable crop varieties and can be freely traded in the EU.

Hristo Rodinov is the creator of the hottest Bulgarian pepper, which is called “Bulgarian Spirit”. Bulgarian Spirit is a cross between Trinidad Moruga Scorpion Red and Red Habanero. The spiciness of the pepper is about 200,000 Scoville.
Bulgarian Spirit is a plant with a bizarre shape – the structure of the plant resembles our typical Bulgarian chili peppers, which are more bushy, but the shape of the fruit is exotic and resembles a glossy strawberry. It carries with it a strong pungency and citrus aroma, which leave a long and lasting aftertaste.

Thanks to the fact that the variety was created and cultivated in Bulgaria, it is productive and grows wonderfully in our latitudes.
