The Bulgarian Spirit variety is registered in the EU's common catalog of vegetable varieties and can be freely traded within the EU.

Hristo Rodinov is the creator of the hottest Bulgarian pepper, called "Bulgarian Spirit." Bulgarian Spirit is a cross between Trinidad Moruga Scorpion Red and Red Habanero. The pepper's heat is around 200,000 Scoville units.
Bulgarian Spirit is a plant with a bizarre shape – the structure of the plant resembles our typical Bulgarian hot peppers, which are more bush-like, but the shape of the fruit is exotic and resembles a glossy strawberry. It has a strong pungency and citrus aroma, which leave a long and lasting aftertaste.

Thanks to the fact that the variety was created and cultivated in Bulgaria, it is harvested and thrives beautifully in our geographical latitudes.
